Arlie and Becky Enis
Arlie Enis served as a captain in the U.S. Army and received the Bronze Star for meritorious service while serving in Vietnam (1969-1970). In 1975 he was appointed as the superintendent of the UPCI’s Military Ministries, Europe/Middle East. He supervised military fellowships and military churches while pastoring the headquarters church, Bethel UPC, in Landstuhl, Germany. He also served as the coordinator for the Europe/Middle East Leadership Development International, which is involved in training ministerial leaders. During the past 33 years, 550 leaders and families and over 100 civilian AIM workers have served under Enis. He has made two trips to Iraq in support of the troops who have been assigned there from Military Ministries.
In 2006 the Enises were appointed as furlough replacements for Europe/Middle East. Their first furlough replacement assignment took them to Malta. He is still the coordinator for Military Ministries, Europe/Middle East.
